Brief Bio:

Dr. Vietti attended the University of Houston College of Optometry, where he received his Doctor of Optometry in 1974. He has been in private practice in Chanute, Kansas since 1974.

Professional Contributions

Recipient of 1992 Vision Service Award from the Kansas Optometric Association, in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the visual welfare of the state of Kansas

Creator of the 1990-1991 "Seeing to Read" charity project, provided through a grant obtained from Ronald McDonald's Children's Charities

Founder of the Gift of Sight Foundation, 1988 -- Name changed to See To Learn Foundation, 2005

Received the award of Optometrist of the Year 2003 from both the American Optometric Association and the Kansas Optometric Association
