Plans are to begin in Iowa, and fly in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Missouri, and Kansas.

We'll start our trek among the burgeoning fall colors of northeastern Iowa.  We'll witness the autumn transition along the Great River Road Scenic Byway adjacent to the Mississippi, and join other EAA pilots at the SE Minnesota Fall Color Fly-in.  In Iowa, we'll have the chance to fly to the Mississippi River bluffs over rolling farms like the one shown above. We'll visit the unique culture and shops of Iowa's Amana Colonies, and sample their wine and breads and other delicious treats.  And we'll top it all off with some terrific flying over the Flint Hills of Kansas, prairie land for miles upon miles.  All along the way we'll tell flying lies, eat shelled peanuts, and maybe even share a few brewskis by the evening campfires.

If you fly a PPC, you'll want to be a part of
PPC Caravan II.  Join us for the entire trip or just part of it.  We guarantee the fun.  And the best part -- we haven't raised the registration fee.  Nope.  It's still free.

This might be the final update!?  -- 10/01/06

NOTICE!

+For safety reasons, this adventure is for powered parachutes only.
+ Please -- no trikes, no rotorcraft, and no fixed wing ultralights.
+All PPC pilots are encouraged to have at least 15 hours of previous PPC flying experience.
+ Limited camping space at airports limits participants to powered parachute pilots & their family, not guest campers.
+All PPC pilots and their guests must abide by the rules and directions of the Caravan sponsors, airport FBOs, FAA officials, and local authorities, or they will be asked to leave the Caravan at any time during the event.
+ All PPC pilots take full responsibility for their own actions and flight decisions.
+ Caravan organizers are not responsible for any accidents, injuries, or property damage.
+If provided by the Caravan organizers, flight and weather briefings are not intended to guarantee safe flying conditions.
+All participating pilots must have a WORKING aviation radio on board on every flight taken during the Caravan!
+We are guests of the airports we visit.  Each pilot agrees to pay a small "airport use fee" to each airport.  The amount of this fee will be determined by the Caravan organizers and will not exceed $10 per day (or at least that is our goal.)
+ Not all PPC pilots who apply will necessarily be allowed to participate based on past behaviors at other PPC events.
+ Each PPC pilot must agree in writing to the above terms prior to participating in PPC Caravan II.

PPC Caravan II is a project arranged by PPCPilot.com and Bill (Vie) and Suzi Vietti
